Our community sized church dates back to the early 1900's but
has grown rapidly with the influx of new residents in the Jordan Lake area.

It is a personal choice of Merritt's members to have their children baptized at birth or at a later stage in life.
Recently, three of our youth chose to be baptized in the waters of Jordan Lake instead of the usual church sanctuary services.
It was a wonderful event for all.

Our Christian Life Center was opened in 2005.
It has a full kitchen, classrooms, and a multi-purpose room.
